E-SQUAD

In this emerging program‚ middle and high school youth evaluate SJETC programs‚ taking responsibility for the entire process from evaluation design through data collection and analysis to formal presentation of findings. After being trained in evaluation process‚ youth design an assessment tool, facilitate focus groups and conduct the program evaluation. The E–Squad evaluators focus on assessing how well SJETC programs promote youth development in the following areas: safety‚ relationship building‚ skill building‚ leadership‚ and community involvement.
